A Personal Account & Brief History of PURR
In the early days of COVID, there was a scarcity of masks so we made our own, making good use of our makerspace.
During COVID, PURR was a safe haven to get some fresh air, sun, and space away from the city.
Tommy came out to help with constructing the Hot Tub base.

2020 COVID Lockdown

Immediately after the New Years Eve 2020 party, COVID hit and PURR had to shut down operation and go into lockdown. Only through a crowdfunding campaign and the support of the PWN creative community, we managed to survive the pandemic.

As the lockdown loosen up, we were able to host small pods of people in accordance with local ordinance. The most memorable moments were Maybe Man with the Dusty Booty Ranch camp, serving pho to James, Nate, Trina, Arnoldo V. Chapa, Matt Simper, Whitney Murphy & family, the hot tub dome construction with Lona Garner, Joe Mash, Rebecca Ha, Paul Wojcieszak and Tommy Turner and a Private Halloween Rave with Allen and friends. For those who came out to visit us, PURR provided a breath of fresh air from the congested city lockdown.
